DESCRIPTION
ArMI (Arlington Massachusetts Invasives), a small grass-roots – ha! – community organization dedicated to the removal of invasive plant species in the neighborhood and local area, desired an official brand to help legitimize their appearance now that they were hosting various “weed-out” events and posting signage in Arlington’s many public green spaces. They wanted a logo design that incorporated a soft contrast color palette legible at a distance, that lacked the stuffiness of a corporate or federal agency’s look/feel (to better emphasize that they were an informal body comprised of neighbors and that they were also more fun) and that could not be mistaken for the logo of a landscaping company.

Logo design as well as signage was done in Affinity Designer.
