STORE EXPLORER

DESCRIPTION
Not only was One Door’s Merchandising Cloud software application used as a merchandising campaign planner, logistics coordinator and communications tool for corporate to convey visual merchandising instructions to stores, because of the repository of information it possessed it was also used to run sophisticated queries and return equally sophisticated query results in real-time. Store Explorer was developed in order to address the pain points experienced by Category Managers who needed to know immediately how many of X appears on Y and at Z locations. 

In essence, Store Explorer was designed to be a super search tool that combed all the data that companies had entered into Merchandising cloud, including the data that could only be calculated as the intersection of multiple overlaying filters. Designing the input that could support such a complicated query was only half of the effort involved with Store Explorer as the display of the returned search results needed to be legible and consumable by the customer as well.
